Mariners sign A-League defender Aspro

Central Coast have added Jonathan Aspropotamitis to their books after Western Sydney released the defender after four A-League seasons.

The 21-year-old former youth international joins new Mariners coach Mike Mulvey in Gosford, saying Mulvey was key to his decision.

"When I first met with Mike, I was really inspired by his vision for the club and where he wants the club to be ... I'm really thrilled to be joining the Mariners," he said.
