Lowe happy to play FFA Cup final away

Perth Glory coach Kenny Lowe is unfussed about missing out on a home FFA Cup final again, so long as his team rises to the occasion.

For the second-straight year, Glory must travel interstate for the final and will play Melbourne Victory on Saturday night at AAMI Park.

Adelaide United beat Perth 1-0 in last year's inaugural final and Glory chief executive Peter Filopoulous said last week they were disappointed to miss out on a home game this time.

But there was no way Lowe would buy into the controversy at Friday's match-eve media conference.

"If someone said to me at the beginning of the year `you can play in a Cup final', yeah, I'm not bothered where it is," Lowe said.

"It doesn't matter.

"Those are the cards that you're dealt.

"You don't moan about it - you just get on with it."

Glory have plenty of injury concerns and will start outsiders against the in-form Victory.

Asked what it would take to beat Melbourne, Lowe joked: "just kidnap a couple of their forwards."

He also admitted Perth would need luck on their side but promised they would take the game up to Victory.

"They're a very good side - they ask a lot of questions of you," he said.

"We have to be at our very, very best.

"But we'll come tomorrow to perform, to try and win, so that makes us dangerous."
