Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could face an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a thigh injury in training.
Media reports on Tuesday said Sturridge limped out of training and would undergo a scan on Wednesday.
The England striker had been set to return to action for Liverpool in Sunday's Premier League match at Crystal Palace.
