Liverpool have sold winger Jordon Ibe and defender Martin Skrtel as manager Juergen Klopp reshapes his squad for the new English Premier League season.

The 20-year-old Ibe joined fellow English side Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee, reported in the British media to be STG15 million ($A26 million).

Ibe failed to secure a regular place under Klopp last season.

Turkish club Fenerbahce announced the signing of Skrtel for a reported fee of STG5 million ($A8.64 million).

The Slovakia centre back had been at Liverpool since 2008.

Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho were mostly preferred last season by Klopp, who added more competition in the position by signing Joel Matip from Schalke.
