Keeper pulls off amazing double save
Costa Rican goalkeeper Daniel Camronero has been lauded after producing an amazing double save to help his side claim a vital draw in the CONCACAF Champions League.
The Herediano shot-stopper was at his athletic best, showing superb reflexes to keep out two close range strikes during his side's recent clash with Olimpia.
With an Olimpia player charging into the box, the 29-year-old streaked from his line to try and shutdown the play, only for his defenders to stop the move as he hit the turf.
Then, with little time to recover the ball landed at the feet of another Olimpia player who unleashed a powerful close range shot, forcing the keeper to dive full stretch to his left and block it.
A split second later he was forced into action again when another shot was blasted, which he managed to gobble up and hold onto.
The double play proved vital in a knife-edge clash, with Herediano managing to hang on for a crucial 1-1 away draw.
