Italian footballer scores most improbable goal

Italian fourth grade midfielder Domenico Zampaglione is no doubt telling anyone who will listen that this incredible goal was completely deliberate.
Playing on a second-rate pitch made even worse by rain, Zampaglione scored a freak 70m goal after a slide tackle deep in his own half.
The wind picked up the ball that sailed over the head of the keeper and won the match for Vigor Lamezia, who were playing Tuttocuoio 1957.

One person who was definitely not impressed with the conditions and the crazy goal was Tuttocuoio 1957 manager Massimiliano Alvini.
"We played on a field that had nothing to do with football and the game was decided by an episode that has nothing to do with football," he said after the match.
