Inter Milan sign Biraghi from Fiorentina

Cristiano Biraghi has signed with Inter Milan in a swap of loan deals that saw Fiorentina welcome Dalbert Henrique, the Italian Serie A club says.

Biraghi, 26, was a fixture as left back in his two seasons at La Viola and has had five call-ups to recent games of the Italy national team.

The Brazilian Dalbert, 25, appeared sparsely in his two years in Milan.

Portugal international defender Joao Mario also left Inter earlier this week on loan to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.

With the transfer window due to close on Monday, the Nerazzurri are said to be close to signing Chile international Alexis Sanchez on loan from Manchester United.

They have already purchased Belgian striker Romelo Lukaku from the English Premier League club for 65 million euros (A$107 million) in early August.
