Heroic goalkeeper's four incredible saves in five seconds

A little-known goalkeeper in Romania has produced some of the greatest heroics ever seen between the sticks as he denied his opponents four times in five seconds with a series of incredible saves.

CSMS Lasi keeper Alessandro Caparco initially flew back behind the goal-line to block a shot from a CFR Cluj attacker before diving back towards another opponent to turn away the follow-up header from point-blank range.

The Italian’s heroics didn’t finish there as he all but turned into a human wall by stopping a third shot and then a parrying a fourth into the air before the referee ended the remarkable passage of play by blowing a free kick. 

Fittingly, CSMS Lasi went on to record a 2-0 victory with Caparco’s heroics between the sticks obviously to the fore.
