Germany win World Cup

Germany has won the World Cup final after beating Argentina 1-0 thanks to an extra time winner from substitute Mario Goetze at the Maracana Stadium.
It took until the 112th minute for the deadlock to be broken, with Goetze scoring with a nice finish at the near post after a cross from the left flank.
It is the first time Argentina has conceded a goal in the knockout stages of the tournament.

Germany has now won the World Cup four times after their first triumph since reunification.
