French federation calls off Cup

The draw for the next round of the French Cup has been postponed due to the Paris attacks, the French Football Federation says.

The draw for the eighth round was due to take place on Tuesday, but the seventh round program, scheduled to be played this weekend, was called off after Friday's attacks, which left 129 people dead.

The seventh round is the first in which clubs from the French second division Ligue 2 enter the fray.

Top flight Ligue 1 clubs don't join in until after the completion of the eighth round, which is due to be played on December 5-6.
