Former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson returns to Old Trafford on Sunday (AEST) for the first time since undergoing emergency brain surgery in May.
The 76-year-old will attend United's Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers and the club said it plans to "honour Sir Alex's return" before kick-off.
"It's obviously been a long journey but I'm making steps forward, doing what my son tells me and what the doctors tell me," Ferguson told MUTV.

"It was a long time but it's great to be back and I just hope we get a win."
Ferguson spent several days in intensive care after surgery for a brain haemorrhage on May 5 and has been recovering at home since his release from hospital.
