Fans injured in clashes at Athens airport

At least five people have been hurt as Dinamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade fans clashed at Athens International Airport.

The brawl broke out on Thursday at a departure gate as a group of 30 Dinamo fans were heading home after a Champions League game against Olympiakos Piraeus the previous evening.

Police said the group were ambushed by 60 Red Star fans, who are affiliated with Olympiakos and had been hosted in Greece ahead of the game.

State agency ANA said over 20 people were detained over the incident.
