EPL security guard bodyslams fan

A security guard at an English football match has employed a move more commonly seen in WWE to flatten a Liverpool supporter as he invaded the pitch to celebrate.

Footage from Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium shows jubilant Reds fans in the away supporters section celebrating after Phil Coutinho opened the scoring with a stunning long-range effort.

A Reds fan can be seen jumping onto the field to celebrate along with the players.The supporter barely sets foot on the pitch before he is set upon by the steward, who delivers a perfect Rock Bottom, the trademark move of The Rock during his time in professional wrestling.

After being slammed to the floor, the fan is then surrounded by several stewards.

For the record, Liverpool recorded a 2-0 win.
