Football star takes no mercy on children

Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa's competitive juices got the better of him after he showed no mercy to a horde of children in a 'friendly' match.

The Japanese international was taking on around 30 kids from the 'Hyogo Dream Team', a part of his Shinji Dream project, when he slipped into all-out attack mode.

Showing the silky skill that made him a one-time Premier League star with Manchester United, the 26-year-old Kagawa ran rings around the children, who chased the ball exactly how a team of kids would – harassing the two-time German champion like a swarm of bees.

But the mini-Kagawas were no match for the real thing and, after growing tired of toying with his opponents, he eventually broke into the box and shot past not one, but two goalkeepers.

And just to rub salt into the wound, Kagawa celebrated the goal like he had just struck the winner for Dortmund in the final of the Champions League, pointing to the heavens before leaping into the air.
