Demba Ba scores 'luckiest goal ever'

Former Chelsea striker Demba Ba has scored what is already being dubbed "the luckiest goal ever", after finding the net with his backside.

The incident happened in a Turkish league match against Mersin, when the Besiktas forward fell to the ground after shooting.

His effort was saved by the opposing goalkeeper, but rebounded back to Ba as he lay on the ground, with the ball hitting his backside and deflecting into the net.

Ba famously benefited from a Steven Gerrard slip in the Premier League last season, when he scored for Chelsea following the Liverpool captain's fall, which seriously dented the Reds' title challenge.

And now the 29-year-old has shown he is one of the game's luckiest players once again.
