Daring pitch invader produces great escape

A pitch invader in Russia has achieved the seemingly impossible by employing the use of his scarf and a couple of mates to escape from security.

The supporter, who'd run onto the field and kissed Lokomotiv Moscow's Manuel Fernandes, was forced to scale two walls as he retreated back toward the stands, but seemed destined to fall at the last hurdle when he was confronted by a canyon-like pit that separated the pitch from the stands.But he clearly had a plan and, after delicately spreading his legs to balance above the concrete crevasse, he threw one end of his scarf to some friends who helped winch him to safety.While the sight of his successful escape triggered wild celebrations among fans, it's not known if the long arm of the law eventually caught up with him.
