Footballer swallowed up by camera pit
An English footballer can definitely say he put his body on the line - or in the hole as it were - after a whole-hearted chase resulted in him sliding into a camera pit.
Junior Hoilett was in action for championship side QPR when he was called onto chase a through ball down as it headed over the goal line.
Showing eyes only for the ball, the speedy winger slid to keep the ball in play, with his momentum taking him off the pitch before he was swallowed up perfectly by the camera pit.

Unfortunately, Hoilett’s admirable commitment wasn’t rewarded with a win as QPR went down 3-2.
