Canberra W-League game delayed due to heat

Canberra United's home W-League match with Melbourne Victory on Saturday has been pushed back to 5pm (AEDT) due to heat.

Kick-off at McKellar Park had been scheduled for 4pm, however Football Federation Australia said its wet bulb globe temperature was predicted to be above the safe and acceptable threshold of 28 degrees Celsius at that time.

Temperatures in Canberra are expected to hit 36 degrees on Saturday.
