Balotelli tells critics to 'shut up'

Football superstar Mario Balotelli has courted further controversy by angrily attacking his detractors in a video he posted online.

Balotelli, who has struggled to find consistent form since his high profile move to Liverpool, uploaded the video to his Instagram account.The striker looks squarely at the camera as his addresses those who've presumably taken a swipe on him on social media."Do you know me? Did you ever talk to me, personally? Do you know what I’ve been through in my life?" Balotelli asks."You just saw me play football on the pitch so, man, shut up."His video is captioned "For those with an easy judge without knowing s*** about others. Good night #idowhatiwant-remember!"Balotelli's career has been littered with off-field controversies and though he once earned the nickname Super Mario, he has scored just one goal since moving to Anfield.Manager Brendan Rogers has also questioned his work rate, while last month he drew criticism from captain Steven Gerrard for pinching a penalty-kick from teammate Jordan Henderson.
