Adelaide Utd chief quits the A-League club

Adelaide United chief executive Grant Mayer has quit the A-League club.

Mayer, who held the job for almost two years, is resigning to join the South Australian Jockey Club as its chief executive.

Mayer will relinquish his post late next month with the Reds to soon begin searching for a replacement.
