* THEY SAID IT - "Bouzanis admitted making the remarks out of ignorance; however, has since understood the seriousness of his comments" - A Melbourne City statement confirms goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis will apologise for repeatedly calling Besart Berisha a "f***ing gypsy" during Saturday's 2-1 derby loss to Melbourne Victory and undergo an educational course.
* STAT THAT MATTERS - 34. The number of months since Central Coast last won back-to-back A-League games. They broke that drought with a 2-1 defeat of Adelaide on Sunday to go with last week's 2-0 shock of Perth.
* MAN OF THE ROUND - Western Sydney marksman Brendon Santalab was vintage against Wellington but it was fellow brace-scorer Diego Castro who starred, guiding Perth to a 3-2 win over Newcastle. The 34-year-old Spaniard bamboozled opponents and set up numerous chances separate from his own two goals.
* SAFE HANDS - Paul Izzo single-handedly - and footedly - kept Central Coast in Sunday's contest with Adelaide. During a frenetic few minutes man of the match Izzo made three game-changing saves in the face of a Reds onslaught and even continued his fine form with a split lip after copping a ball to the face.
* CONTROVERSY CORNER - Melbourne City goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis is sure to hear from the match review panel for his racial slur against Besart Berisha, while Tim Cahill was red-carded for verbally abusing referee Chris Beath after his contentious awarding of Manny Muscat's own goal. Jason Geria had sent a ball in the direction of Berisha, who was in an offside position in the box but didn't get a touch.
* UNDER PRESSURE - Adelaide coach Guillermo Amor. The Barcelona legend said Sunday's match with Central Coast was like a final. Now, after their 11th loss of the season the Reds are last by five points. Despite steering the club to their first title last season, time is surely ticking for Amor.
