No Tommy Oar for Roar

Tommy Oar will make his A-League return next weekend after Brisbane Roar coach John Aloisi decided not to rush his star recruit in for Saturday's crunch clash with Melbourne Victory.

Aloisi said Oar, who joined the Roar last month after six years abroad, needs another week of training before he is fit enough to play, having been without a club for most of the last two months.

The Roar host defending A-League champions Victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night and then are away to Melbourne City the week after.
