A-League Men import Jason Cummings laments 'stale', 'stop-start' affair after VAR interventions
Star A-League Men import Jason Cummings took aim at the VAR following an extra-time loss at AAMI Park on Saturday night.
Cummings' Central Coast Mariners lost 1-0 to Melbourne Victory, but the result wasn't what angered the Scottish striker at full time.
He labelled the game "stale" and "stop-start" for the number of times play was halted for a video review, or for a drinks break.

"It was quite a stale game," Cummings said.
"I've never been at a game where it gets stopped that long.
"Like, genuinely. The VAR takes about 10 minutes to stop with that.

"He's [the referee is] stopping the game for a commercial break.
"I need to warm up every 10 minutes. It's stop-start."
The referee referred to the VAR on several occasions.
On one occasion, the video review official took four minutes to decide Jake Brimmer was offside, when it seemed like an obvious call.
Victory coach Tony Popovic also vented his frustrations at the extended VAR delays.
"The lengthy VAR review, I'd like them to be a lot quicker because I think they've taken a little too long in all games," Popovic said.
"The drinks break, whether that's for TV or not, I think we would all love the game to keep flowing but we were made aware of this before the season.
"I don't like it but we have to accept it and it can work in your favour sometimes, and against you sometimes.
"But regardless of whether it's for you or against, I'd certainly love the game to just continue. Let the game continue."
