There’s at least one sports fan out there who isn’t in awe that the Chicago Cubs finally broke their 108-year long drought with a historic victory in this year’s World Series.

And it’s a jaw-dropper of a reason.

The teen fan in question bet his friends that if the Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians, they could rip out one of his teeth.

But hold on – it gets worse.

In an homage to their love of all things sport, the budding fans decided to pull the tooth by tethering it to a NFL ball while the biggest of his friends launched it as hard as he could.

"I'm not a liar," the sporting martyr proclaimed before facing his penance. "It's not what I'm about. Not now. Not ever!”

As his lofty friend winds up to launch a rocket of a throw, the teen’s face screws up in anticipation before promptly letting out a hollered yelp as his tooth is plucked clean out.

Whether there is some trickery going on or it’s the real deal is unclear, but one thing’s for sure, the video certainly highlights the dangers of gambling.
