Fan breaks boy’s heart by popping ball
A villainous University of Arizona football fan has broken a young boy’s heart after popping a beach ball that the crowd was playing with.
Footage during a break in play in the match between the Wildcats and UNLV Rebels shows the Arizona Stadium crowd hit the ball amongst themselves before a man reaches up above an expectant young fan and grabs the ball.
As the fans around him watch, the man pops the ball and tears it before throwing the now useless bit of plastic down into the crowd.
He then starts taunting the crowd by clapping as other fans give him the thumbs down.
A dismayed young boy sitting a row down who had tried to grab the ball can be seen asking his dad why the man did that.
For the record, the Wildcats thrashed the Rebels, 58-13.
