Did this winning field goal actually miss?
Social media has spun itself into a lather over Shaun Johnson’s winning field goal in the Kiwis 17-16 win over England in the Four Nations.
Johnson scored the match defining drop goal in the 65th minute and in real time there doesn’t seem to be anything untoward.
And considering England players didn't protest to the referee, no one thought too much of it.

But multiple replays in slow motion seem to tell a different story.
During the slow motion replay, the ball appears to sail outside of the right post.
As the ball drifts, the replay shows the field goal attempt going wide.
