Clueless cycling fan triggers nasty crash

A spectator at a cycling event in America has triggered a nasty crash after rolling onto a course on his bike, unaware that the peloton was charging up behind him.

One of the competitors in the race had a camera mounted on his handlebars and captured the moment the man wandered out in front of the pack.He's clearly oblivious to the oncoming riders as he appears from the left of screen, forcing the lead cyclists to swerve out of the way.But a heavy collision was inevitable and the cyclist who happens to have the camera appears to fare the worst.The carnage should serve as a harsh reminder for one of life's lessons - always look both ways before crossing the road.
