Cute, distracted beagle wins over crowd at Westminster Dog Show

Sometimes the winner doesn’t always take the spoils. 

A distracted beagle named Mia won the crowd over with her "delightful" antics during the agility course at the Westminster Dog Show. 

Mia made a hot start to her lap but hit a little trouble when she came to the first hurdle and let her hound-like instincts take over – namely sniffing around for a good scent. 

But Mia's handler was quick to get her back on track. That was until she decided to take another pitstop, this time for a quick check on personal cleanliness, much to the mirth of the crowd. 

However, that wasn't the end of the show with Mia saving her best for last – taking the time to stop and pose before taking on the bridge crossing.   

Mia eventually finished the course in 66.24 with 16 faults, tumbling her down the order with a final adjusted time of 82.24. 

But the cute little pooch won the hearts of the crowd with one commentator summing it up best: "That was a delightfully entertaining run".
