Will Pucovski reportedly taking legal advice over complex pay out process
Will Pucovski is reportedly taking legal advice as his playing career appears set to come to a close.
In late August, reports emerged Pucosvki had medically retired, but immediately after that news emerged, a cricket official told The Sydney Morning Herald they had been "blindsided" by the report.
Now the saga has entered a new chapter, with Pucovski reportedly in negotiations over compensation, according to The Age.

The opening batter has suffered a number of concussions throughout his career, with his last coming in the Sheffield Shield in March 2024.

The Age's report states Pucovski's legal team are negotiating with Cricket Victoria while Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers Association are also involved.
Any compensation around the one-Test representative could set a precedent for future concussion cases with Pucovski's situation one of the first in cricket.
The 26-year-old's circumstances are complex. He would be due simply a pay out of his remaining contract if he retired.
However, Pucovski could be eligible for compensation of two years of missed match fees due to being kept out of cricket by injury.
Cricket Victoria told The Age: "Will has all the information to make a decision".
