Full refund for day three of SCG Test

The ongoing showers at the SCG Test won't leave Cricket Australia out of pocket despite the organisation shelling out two days of full refunds.
Some 7,752 fans came through the SCG gates on Tuesday, when play was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Approximately double that number attended day two, when 11.2 overs of play was possible.

CA has insurance for such situations.
CA's refund policy states that patrons are eligible for a 50 per cent refund if 10-25 overs are bowled.
However, CA decided to offer a full refund on Monday because rain ruined so much of the day.
Rain is predicted to interrupt days four and five of the contest.
