UFC fighter dead at 34, just six weeks after last fight
UFC fighter Allan Nascimento, 34, was found dead on Tuesday (AEST) after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep.
The Brazilian was found unresponsive and pronounced dead after efforts from medical teams to revive him.

Nascimento competed at UFC Vegas 119 just six weeks ago, losing a split decision to Mitch Raposo.
He previously won two UFC bouts in 2025. The flyweight held a 22-7 win-loss record.
He began his mixed martial arts journey in Brazil in 2011, before making his UFC debut in 2018.
The UFC released a statement via social media, saying: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan’s family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
Nascimento was a member of Chute Boxe Academy, working alongside coach Diego Lima and has served as a training partner for former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
Oliveira took to Instagram to pay tribute on Tuesday.
“Today I lost a brother. Thank you for always being there, for sharing the mat, the track, for the words. I only have gratitude for having you by my side, brother, in training, in battles, and in our conversations. I love you, kid, you were awesome,” he wrote.
UFC great Dustin Poirier is among the fighters to have paid tribute to Nascimento on social media.
UFC strawweight champion and fellow Brazilian Mackenzie Dern posted: “My condolences. May God comfort the family and friends” on her Instagram story, while Brazilian fighter Gabriel Bonfim added his condolences in response to the UFC’s post.
American fighters Hansel Andres Aquino and Justin Gaethje posted tributes to him as well, with the former saying “rest in power” on Instagram.
