'Let's put it on the table': Olympic gold medallist confronted by UFC's GOAT after title victory
Amanda Nunes looks set to return to the UFC after confronting the newly-crowned women's bantamweight champion on Sunday afternoon (AEST).
As many predicted, Kayla Harrison's ascension from an Olympic gold medallist to a world champion in MMA culminated with a victory against Julianna Pena at UFC 316.
Harrison submitted her rival in the second round to clinch the gold in the co-main event, before Nunes walked into the cage and made her intentions clear.

The former two-division champion, who retired in 2023 as the consensus greatest female fighter of all time, said she was ready to return and take on Harrison.
"Yes, definitely," Nunes said.
"We knew this was gonna happen. Now, we're gonna do it. I'm happy to come back and fight you, Kayla. We are definitely gonna see each other in the future."
Harrison immediately welcomed the challenge and praised Nunes, who held both the featherweight and bantamweight titles during her initial run with the promotion.
"This is the greatest fighter of all time," the American star said.
"For a long time I've said that I want what she has.
"I have a belt, she has a legacy - let's put it on the table."
