'I boxed his ears off': Liam Talivaa earns revenge with brutal TKO win against Brandon Grach

Liam Talivaa has avenged the 2023 loss that haunted him most, getting one back on heavyweight rival Brandon Grach on Sunday afternoon.
The two met on the undercard for Tim Tszyu, with Talivaa bringing things to a swift close immediately as the fifth round commenced.
Grach's knockout of the Kiwi-born boxer two years ago made headlines worldwide and set the stage for a rematch.

Talivaa controlled the early rounds, though the fight dragged on longer than most experts expected, but the southpaw took control in the third round, dropping Grach.
Grach fought back into things in the fourth round, landing a leaping uppercut, sending his opponent's mouthpiece flying.
However, a swift flurry immediately after the bell for the fifth round saw Grach hit the deck and the referee declaring a winner.
Talivaa doesn't believe a third bout between the two fighters is necessary, saying he's moving on to the next thing.
"There's no need to be a trilogy," he told Main Event.

"I boxed his ears off and dropped him in the fifth.
"I'm on to bigger and better things
"But big ups to Grach. It takes a lot of balls to get into this ring."
