Aussie heavyweight Teremoana Teremoana remains undefeated after 'scary' first-round knockout

Australian boxer Teremoana Teremoana has continued to turn heads as a professional, recording his 10th victory in as many fights.

The rising heavyweight star knocked out Curtis Harper towards the end of the first round with a brutal right hand, dropping his opponent to the canvas immediately.

"That short right hand, you couldn't even see it and you can bet Curtis Harper definitely didn't see it ... that is scary right there," one commentator said on DAZN.

Teremoana (10-0, 10 KOs) competed at the Olympics less than two years ago, making the quarter finals, before making the jump from amateur to professional.

The 28-year-old is putting his name up in lights and could push into world title contention in the coming years if his hot streak continues.

"He wants the world to recognise him and know who he is and if you keep doing this, world will spread," commentator Todd Grisham said. 

Signed to the Eddie Hearn-led Matchroom Boxing promotion, the towering heavyweight has cruised past the majority of his opponents, going just 12 total rounds in 10 bouts.

Teremoana's latest win came on the undercard for Carlos Adames vs Austin Williams for the WBC middleweight world title.
