'No matter what he says': Paul Gallen's final barb for Sonny Bill Williams during tense weigh-in

Sonny Bill Williams and Paul Gallen have weighed in and faced-off with their bout officially locked in for Wednesday night.
It has been an intense journey to the ring, filled with personal barbs and history.
And the weigh-in was no different.

Despite the pointed words at the press conference, Gallen said he is focused and ready to go.
"There's no fire that anyone can ignite in me that I haven't ignited myself, no one can motivate me more than I motivate myself," Gallen said.
"No matter what he says or does, I'm ready to go. I've had a good preparation. I've trained hard and lost a lot of weight."

He did take one final jab at his opponent, saying "most of the guys I've sparred with could beat Sonny."
Williams laughed off the suggestion, saying the time for talking is finally over.
"We'll see. The beauty of this event is the talk's done now. We're not going to get any fitter. We're not going to get any better, but it's all on the line tomorrow night," Williams said.

"This is the shit that we love. The big bright lights. We've been to the trenches and we're ready to go."
Gallen weighed in at 100.5kg, while Williams hit the scales at 106.5kg.
Australian boxing champion Danny Green stood between them as the pair faced off one final time.
Green provided his insight into the fireworks he is expecting on Wednesday night.
"As you can see, the feeling (between them) is genuine. These guys want to hurt each other," Green said.
"These fellas are pinging physically, mentally and emotionally and they're ready to throw down.

"There's no secret with what Gallen possesses. He's strong, he's a bull, he's a tiger and he's a warhorse and a proven commodity in the boxing ring.
"Sonny Bill is also a tough, hard man, but he's a bit more sophisticated and finessed in his boxing.
"He's going to have to work out how to keep Gallen off him, because he's not going to stop coming at him.

"Sonny Bill's had a fantastic camp ... he's back to basics, getting him on those strong, long punches that he possesses and if he catches Gallen coming in, that's going to be very difficult for Gallen to cover.
"People watching are never going to wonder whether they're going to get a tough fight out of Paul Gallen, you are going to.
"It's a very exciting fight and bragging rights are on the line for the rest of their lives."

When asked if he thought the fight could go the distance, Green said he can see clear circumstances that would allow both boxers to knock each other out.
"If Gallen gets in and under Sonny, he's going to make it very difficult, but if Sonny catches Gallen coming in with one of those big long levers that he possesses, he could very well hurt Paul Gallen badly," Green said.
"It's very exciting."
