'Scumbags': Mark Schleibs and Sam Goodman's weigh-in turns physical after 'low blow' comments

Mark Schleibs has taken aim at the Sam Goodman supporters known as 'the mad bunch' following a fiery weigh-in on Tuesday.

The pair will finally put the trash talk to the side and square off in the main event of No Limit's pay-per-view card in Wollongong, with the No.1 ranked super-bantamweight going up against the tough and loudmouthed Schleibs.

Their rivalry has unfolded over the past couple of months, with Goodman slapping Schleibs last month at a media event, before the pair exchanged verbal barbs during the press conference earlier this week.

However, a personal sledge from a supporter at the official weigh-ins prompted a heated response from Schleibs, who pushed his opponent and offered some choice words to his fans who brought up his family history.

"They're yelling out that I've never met my father … low blows," he said.

"That's the type of people he (Goodman) hangs around with. They're scumbags."

"It doesn't surprise me ... I can't wait to put their boy on the canvas."

Goodman (17-0) is regarded as one of Australia's best fighters and despite normally being a reserved figure outside of the ring, has become embroiled in a heated feud that will culminate in his hometown on Wednesday night.

Also featured on the event will be former NRL stars Curtis Scott and Joey Leilua, who will meet in a heavyweight bout that has quickly become personal.

The ex-Raiders had one final chance to go face-to-face before their fight, with the Samoan international weighing in almost 30kg more than Scott.

Issac Hardman will stake his claim for a world title bout with Jermall Charlo when he takes on Endry Saavedra in a middleweight bout, while the likes of Koen Mazoudier and Arsene Fosso will also compete on the card.
