Chalmers to get SA council honour

Olympic gold medallist Kyle Chalmers is to be presented with the keys to the city of Marion in Adelaide.

The 18-year-old 100 metre swimming gold medallist from the Rio games trains at the Marion swim centre, prompting the council to present him with its highest honour.

Chalmers is one of eight athletes from Rio who either live or train in the Marion area who will all be honoured at a civic reception on Thursday night.
