'Best tackle of the game': Aussie Philadalphia Eagles punter Cameron Johnston body slams Alvin Kamara

Aussie Philadelphia Eagles punter Cameron Johnston has lit up the NFL with a brutal body slam tackle on New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara.

Johnston stunned the capacity crowd at Mercredes-Benz Superdome when he charged down his own 46-yard bomb of a punt. Kamara, who caught the ball at Saints 13-yard line, tore through the Eagles first line of defence on the return but was immediately bodied by the 26-year-old out of Geelong who was steaming down the field.

The tackle sent Johnston’s teammates into a frenzy as Kamara earned himself a charge of unsportsmanlike conduct for his bitter reaction to the walloping.

Slo-motion replays captured the brutality of the Aussies challenge as he rag-dolled the running-back touted by many as the best in the league.

It’s just another scintillating chapter in the Aussie’s stellar season, and sure enough the Philly faithful rushed to twitter to share their disbelief.

Unfortunately for the Eagles Johnston’s heroics weren’t enough to save them from a 41-point shellacking as they went down to the Saints 48-7.
