Yamak, a light heavyweight with an undefeated 8-0 record, took a big shot from Wandera in the second round and tried to come out to fight in the third round, but before the round started, Yamak dropped in the ring.

The event was immediately cancelled as doctors rushed in and he was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead of a heart attack.

"My condolences to his sad family and fans."

Yamak boasted eight knockouts, with the Turkish born fighter turning pro in 2017. His career received a big boost after winning the WBFed International title in 2021.
