'Best Fighter' Rousey slams Mayweather
UFC champion Ronda Rousey has landed a right hook on Floyd Mayweather after the ESPY winner wondered how the pound-for-pound champion "feels getting beat by a woman for once".
The 28-year-old Rousey beat a star-studded field, including Mayweather, to win the ESPY award for 'Best Fighter' of the year.
And after receiving the award, Rousey slammed Mayweather in a nod to his history of abuse against women on American sports channel ESPN.
Mayweather has been charged six times for domestic violence and served two months in jail in 2012.
"I can't help but really say that I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said as she was interviewed live on-air.
The bantamweight champion then followed the hook with a vicious roundhouse kick as she attacked the boxing legend for infamously claiming about Rousey: "I have no idea who he is".
"I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now," she said.
