Player sucker punches rival after high school basketball game in US
A high school basketball clash between Nevada and Carlisle in the US has gone viral after a player sucker-punched his opponent at the end of the game.
As the two high school teams started shaking hands after Nevada's 72-47 win, a Carlisle player instead threw a punch to the stomach of one of his opponents, which was followed by another shot to the face.
Clearly blindsided by the act, the Nevada player immediately dropped as players from both teams attempted to defuse the situation.

It's unclear what sparked player #4 of Carlisle to act out, but the moment has since reached more than a million views across social media in a matter of hours.

Even Orlando Magic guard RJ Hampton appeared shocked after witnessing the incident, taking to social media to express his sadness.
The Carlisle superintendent told TMZ sports that an investigation had started, in which police were also involved.
"I want to make it clear that this type of conduct is not tolerated at Carlisle CSD," he said.
"The district will follow the student code of conduct policy and procedures throughout the investigation of this incident and implement appropriate consequences.
"All proper authorities have been notified of the incident including IHSAA."
