NBL's Conklin could be in trouble again
Reigning NBL MVP Brian Conklin could be facing further tribunal scrutiny following another incident which left an opponent injured.
The big Townsville centre felled Adelaide 36ers player Mitch Creek with an elbow to the face as his arm swung backwards while he went up to the rim to shoot during his team's 89-65 loss in Adelaide on Saturday night.
Creek emerged with a lump on the side of his face and took no further part in the match.

The incident came just over a week after Conklin was cleared at a tribunal hearing over a mid-court incident with a stray elbow that left Perth Wildcats captain Damian Martin with a broken jaw.
