NBL's best player Bryce Cotton set to sign three-year deal with Adelaide 36ers

Bryce Cotton looks to have found a new NBL team, with the multi-time MVP closing in on a deal with the Adelaide 36ers for next season.
The 32-year-old American has been the best player in the Australian competition for several years, winning the top individual gong on five separate occasions.
Cotton announced earlier this year that he would be leaving the Perth Wildcats after spending close to a decade with the team and winning three NBL championships.

Perth had reportedly offered the guard a deal worth $1 million per season to remain in their colours, but Cotton opted to knock it back.
It was widely believed that Cotton would head overseas, potentially to Japan, but a report from 9News Adelaide on Thursday revealed he would be staying Down Under.
The deal between Cotton and Adelaide is expected to last for three years.
The signing is a massive coup for the 36ers and one of the biggest in NBL history.
Cotton has been the leading scorer in the competition eight times - including the past seven in a row - since arriving at the Wildcats in 2017.
After going undrafted after college, Cotton would spend time at a few NBA franchises, including the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns, but never made a huge splash.
