NBA great 'Shaq' mocks himself over fall

NBA great Shaquille O'Neal appears to have seen the lighter side of an embarrassing fall on national television, by going to extraordinary lengths to safeguard against a repeat act.

'Shaq' is renowned for his good sense of humour and had his colleagues at Inside the NBA smiling when he joined them on set dressed in bubble-wrap.The 43-year-old, who is 215 centimetres tall and weighs 145 kilograms, went tumbling last week when his feet became tangled in wires as he attempted to walk away from his desk.

His colleagues have attempted to lay claim to the fall, suggesting they 'booby-trapped' his desk.

To prove the point, they showed Shaq security vision that was purportedly recorded ahead of the program in which he took the fall.Like Shaq, we're dubious about its authenticity, but you can be the judge.
