NBA: Golden State Warriors take 3-0 lead against San Antonio Spurs

The Golden State Warriors have inched closer to a third-straight visit to the NBA Finals after securing a 120-108 victory against a injury-ravaged San Antonio Spurs in game three of the Western Conference finals.
The Warriors swept the floor at home in the first two games and against a Spurs side missing MVP finalist Kawhi Leonard, produced another stellar performance that has them on course for a likely rematch with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
However, the Spurs, with Australian Patty Mills installed as the lead point guard, made the visitors fight for every point and had a four-point lead by the end of the first quarter.
But the Spurs were counting the cost of their slight victory - forward David Lee taken off the court on a wheelchair after a clash with the Warriors’ Draymond Green.
And behind off-season star recruit Kevin Durant (33 points and 10 rebounds) and two-time MVP Steph Curry (21 points), the Warriors locked down on both sides of the ball and had a nine-point lead at the break.
A vintage performance from veteran Manu Ginobili (21 points) kept the Spurs within touch, but a cold Mills, who shot just 3 from 14, and little output from the rest of the squad cruelled their chances of making it 2-1 in the
