Bucks rout Aussie Creek's Nets in NBA

NBA All-Star captain Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists to guide the Milwaukee Bucks past the cold-shooting Brooklyn Nets 113-94.

Australian swingman Mitch Creek returned for the hosts after he was signed to a second 10-day contract and played 15 minutes for the injury-depleted Nets - scoring eight points and adding five rebounds and four assists to his stats sheet.

The Bucks improved the NBA's best record to 39-13 as they built a 23-point lead after three quarters as the Nets missed 19 of their first 20 three-point attempts, finishing five of 42.

Malcolm Brogdon added 16 points and Eric Bledsoe had 15 for the Bucks, who won their fourth straight, all by double digits.

Brooklyn's All-Star D'Angelo Russell scored 18 points as the Nets dropped their third game in a row, leaving the door open for the Charlotte Hornets to overtake them for sixth in the east.

Andre Drummond notched a season-high 27 points as the Detroit Pistons snapped the Denver Nuggets's six-game winning streak 129-103.

Trey Lyles had 20 points for the Nuggets (37-16), who dropped out of a tie with Golden State Warriors for the best record in the western conference.
