Mum stunned after nailing crazy half-court shot

A mother was left reeling after she paid for half of her daughter's tuition fees with one of the craziest half-court basketball shots ever seen.

After topping the fundraising for Bethany Academy Christian School in Minnesota, Grace Ramey was rewarded for her efforts with a chance to bankroll her schooling on the basketball court.

But instead of taking the half-court shot, Grace's mother, Angela, stepped up and seemingly blew the shot when her lobbed underarm throw landed well short of the hoop.

Watching the ball hit the boards Angela and Grace threw their hands in the air in disappointment.

However, their despondence soon turned to utter disbelief when the ball took one bounce and dropped off the ring and through the net.

The pair screamed with joy as students in the bleachers cheered, but it was Angela's reaction that took the cake as she stood open-mouthed and yelled: "what".

Talk about a priceless moment.
