LSU get much-needed win over Texas

Ben Simmons' Louisiana State University has scored a desperately-needed win over US college basketball's 15th-ranked team, Texas A&M.
The Melbourne-born 19-year-old didn't dominate the game, but still managed 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in LSU's 76-71 victory on their Baton Rouge home court on Saturday.

With just six games left in LSU's regular season and with a patchy 16 win, nine loss record, Simmons' team needs to finish strongly to convince selectors they deserve to be in next month's coveted end-of-season NCAA tournament.
