A 208cm writer has duped security guards, basketball fans and members of the public into believing he had been picked up by a team at the 2015 NBA Draft in a funny new clip.

In the video, Connor Toole of Elite Daily poses for photos and receives several well wishes from fans outside the venue for the Draft.

He then uses his height and a sharp suit to get onto the floor of New York’s Barclays Centre, even getting close enough to some of the early picks to congratulate them.

“So it turns out that if you were a suit, act really confident and are also seven foot tall it’s really easy to get on the floor of the NBA Draft,” Toole says on the video.

The writer-turned-baller’s Draft day then changes tack as he adds a Utah Jazz hat to his suit and heads out in the Big Apple to celebrate.

Whilst out on the town, Toole uses his new status as an NBA player to become a hit with the opposite sex.
