A former American college basketballer has been sent home in shame after a shocking attack in Finland's top-flight women's league.

Shanel Harrison, who used to play for La Salle University in the United States, had just been knocked to the ground when she decided to exact revenge with a cowardly punch.She was running to the other end of the court when she suddenly turned and unleashed with a right hook that left her rival unconscious on the court.So brutal was the act considered that the team Harrison had signed with immediately tore up her contract.
